The Shawlands Hotel is a perfect venue for holding conferences or training seminars. Delegates will be able to focus on the task in hand away from the usual flurry of everyday office activities and afterwards enjoy the delights of our mouth-watering dishes from our extensive menu in the newly refurbished Lewis restaurant.

McMillan Function Suite

The function suite is completely self contained with its own cloakroom, toilets and bar facilities

The function suite is available for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, funerals or christenings, the suite can hold up to 110 people, but we could cater for up to 150 people by offering the restaurant area for an extra charge. The suite is traditionally decorated throughout and incorporates a large wooden dancefloor.

We have a wide selection of menus to cater for different functions.

Lewis Restaurant

The restaurant has a seating capacity for approximately 30 guests, it is available for large or small parties, booking is advisable to avoid disappointment. We have a varied menu and for larger parties we have set menus.

Bar / Lounge

The public bar offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere with an open log fire and warm welcome to all. The lounge bar offers traditional decor and an informal ambience, making it ideal for a quiet meal or relaxing drink with friends. We have a full range of cold drinks available.

Travel Lodge

The lodge has 21 rooms, all comfortable and tastefully decorated, offering facilities which include private en-suite bathrooms with heated towel rails, SKY television, direct dial telephones, toiletries, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

The lodge has specially adapted room for disabled visitors and non-smoking rooms are available on request.
